Billing, insurance, refills, lab orders, telehealth — the details that make care work day to day.
Billing & Insurance
We are an out-of-network practice. This lets us spend the time with you that traditional insurance-driven care doesn't allow.
- We provide a superbill after each visit you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
- Labs are typically billed through insurance — most major plans cover them.
- HSA / FSA funds can be used for visits, labs, and prescribed supplements.
- Payment is due at the time of service — we accept all major credit cards, ACH, and HSA/FSA cards.
Prescriptions & Refills
- Request refills through the Medications tab in your patient portal — fastest way.
- Most refills processed within 1–2 business days.
- Compounded medications and peptides ship from partner pharmacies; expect 5–7 business days.
- Need it sooner? Message your provider through the portal.
Lab Orders
- Most labs are drawn at a partner lab convenient to you (Quest, LabCorp, or local).
- Specialty tests (e.g., DUTCH, GI mapping, food sensitivity) ship to your home with collection instructions.
- Results post to your Labs tab as soon as they're back.
- We always review your results with you at a follow-up — never just leave you to interpret them on your own.
Supplements
- We use third-party-tested, professional-grade supplement brands.
- Order through your Supplements tab — saved 10–20% on most products.
- If you bring outside supplements, we'll review them at your visit and let you know what to keep, change, or stop.
Telehealth
- Most follow-up visits can be done virtually. Initial visits sometimes too — depends on the case.
- Click your secure link in the portal at your appointment time. No app required.

Cancellations & No-Shows
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance via the portal or phone.
- Late cancellations and no-shows may incur a fee — full details are in your patient agreement.
- Things happen. If something urgent comes up, just let us know.
Privacy & Records
- Your health information is protected under HIPAA.
- The patient portal is encrypted end-to-end. Use it instead of email for sensitive info.
